a place to love dogs

Swimming dog routine…. swim, dry, swim, dry. Our Golden Molly thinks she needs to dry off after swimming by rolling (where ever) & then gets back in the water to get clean!! It’s a vicious cycle!!

We lost our German short hair Montgomery last summer in a terrible accident. He was out running around and impaled himself with a large stick right through the heart. He died right away. Monty had loved swimming and his trademark was leaping into the water. After his death we were offered one of his puppies from his breeding a few months earlier.
Along came Sherman he was the refreshing touch we all needed to recover from Monty. A sweet little puppy. Sherman didn’t like the water up until a few weeks ago. He started jumping into the water just like his father we were all so amazed that he had Monty’s trademark. He loves swimming just as much as his father does and he whole- heartily takes a running leap into the water. We are so grateful for him and his inherited quirks from our Monty.
