The is Wade, who is Beagle mix going on 7. My daughter rescued Wade from an animal adoption center. They said he was found in a box along with his siblings all covered in tree sap. He is a very unique dog with some issues, but with the love and discipline that my daughter gives him he’s done well. He has even accepted her fiancé! This is Simon he’s almost 7 yrs old. He’s a Corgi/Golden Retriever mix and right here he’s giving me the “Look of Death” it’s as deadly as sin and I just can’t say no when he shoots this my way. So Simon is the greatest most perfect dog in the world. He never barks, begs, whines, cries, or acts out. You could even go as far as to leaving food within grabbing distance and he still won’t attack unless you give him the go ahead. Seems like his No.1 priority is making sure I’m ok and happy and that’s really awesome of him. This is Winry! She is 4 month old Border Collie/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. In this photo, Winry is enjoying a beautiful day after what seemed like months of rain. This is actually the second photo I have submitted to aplacetolovedogs. My first picture was of my previous dog, Buster. Buster was my everything and after I lost him to cancer, I just didn’t know if I would ever be able to come back from it; however, after more than two years without a dog, I decided to adopt and I felt ready for a new love (besides my wonderful cat). On January 30th, 2013, I adopted Winry. She is absolutely incredible. Winry is brilliant and has learned so much in the time I have had her. She has quickly become part of the family and I just know Buster is watching over her. The picture submitted was actually taken on what would have been Buster’s 11th birthday. After days of rain, March 9th was the absolute perfect weather and because of that, Winry spent the entire day running around and having a blast. We both thanked her older brother for such a wonderful time. I am so thankful for Winry and so grateful for the man who allowed me to adopt her, as well as rescued her in the first place. Meet Mambo, 3/4 Cavalier King Charles, 1/4 Chihuahua. Mambo is 3 years old now, but is still as playful as ever. He lives in Singapore and is super friendly. I swear that dog will go home with anyone who cuddles him. He’s such a loving dog, who loves everyone who comes to our house. He does get jealous easily though. He’ll bark at you if you come into the house and not pet or acknowledge his presence. Attention seeking much?
