Inseparable Dog And Goat Mysteriously Appear In Small Town

A mystery goat and dog have been wandering around the small town of Sturdivnant, Missouri and in a town where everybody knows everybody the two are hard to miss. They odd traveling pair decided that the home of William and Stephanie Tackett seemed like a good place to rest.
“My husband heard them behind the cars,” said Stephanie. “He came in and said quick we’ve got a goat and two dogs, and I told him we don’t have a goat!”
Stephanie Tackett said originally there was another large dog with them, but it took off. The Tackett’s say the remaining dog and goat are inseparable, they sleep together and call for one another when out of sight.
Stephanie already gave them names, Billy Bob Thorton for the goat, and Buddy for the dog.
The Tackett’s were surprised that the goat was so friendly. “That goat is the nicest goat,” said Stephanie. “He loves to have his horns rubbed!”
Nobody knows where the pair came from and in his search for an owner, William discovered the pair has been seen before.
“The people over at Greenbrier said they were on the porch Saturday morning,” said William.
The couple hopes to find the owners of the pair. The Humane Society and Sheriff’s Department also say they do not know where the mysterious pair came from.
