Tessa, a blind dog that couldn’t stand or walk, was abandoned at a shelter by her owners. Hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized, Annie Hart from the Bill Foundation went to see her. Not knowing if her condition was treatable, they still decided to try and help this sweet girl. Watch the beautiful transformation of Tessa and how she overcame all by her courage and the power of love, a reminder to us all never to give up.

Adorable little 4-month-old Pitbull mix puppy Mojo is happily reunited with his rescuer! The pup was saved by Joey Wagner,  who runs the Baie Ste. Marie Animal Society when he noticed the puppy was in distress and needed care. The video shows Mojo’s excitement at seeing his rescuer again!

Tiny five-month-old pup Tyson weighs only 13oz and stands 4in tall. His owner Rosemarie McLinden cannot find a collar to fit him, so she takes him for walkies on a ferret harness. The adorable energetic Chihuahua and Lhasa cross, could well be in the running for the title of Britain’s smallest dog.

In 2001, Bretagne (pronounced “Brittany”) was a specially trained 2-year-old Golden Retriever. Now at 15 years old, this heroic girl is believed to be the only living search dog who worked the World Trade Center site after the 9/11 attacks.
In September 2001, Bretagne along with her owner Denise Corliss, traveled from their home in Texas to New York City – at their own expense and without pay, to assist responders searching for survivors. This week, the pair returned to the World Trade Center site for the first time since their mission.
